Riad Al Ansari

Riad Al Ansari had a great location that was a short walk to the Medina. The location allowed us to easily explore a lot of what Fez had to offer from the tannery to the ceramics. The room at the riad was spacious and clean and had neat architecture. Hicham was most helpful when we had questions about tours and transportation and quickly booked us a car and local guide. Breakfast was served each morning and it was a lovely spread of items and a great way to start our day. Overall we had a fantastic experience at Riad Al Ansari!

The property was located very close to Medina. The staff was very helpful when it came to booking tours and taxis for airport. They made sure that storekeepers did not cheat us when it came to buying clothes and other items.

It is a little expensive for individual tours than typical price available on trip advisor or booking.com.

The owners as well as the manager have been outstanding friendly and courteous. There was not even one point to critisize.

10/10! The place is beautiful, clean, and well equipped. It is located near the famous Blue Gate, with a nice view of the Medina and it’s surroundings. The staff is absolutely fantastic, they helped us with finding a guide for our first day out in the Medina (highly recommended) as well as a ride to other places we wished to visit. Their food is also excellent (you can have lunch or dinner there as long as you order it in advance).

This is a newly renovated property with the oldest part of the medina. You are in the easy access to the souk and yet in the quiet tacked away area. All new, beautify designed and yet with the historic feeling. Big room, very comfortable. I have to say one of the most comfortable bed we slept in during out trip. Quality bedding. Choose to stay here, it is a great place.

Like all riads steps are small, high and spiral. Make sure you ask for the room on the lower level if this may be an issue.

The host/manager was excellent, we had a great breakfast, due to the off-season, we were there early FEB 2023, we got an upgraded room and the location was wonderful. We had about a 3 minutes walk to the souk of Fes, it was nice to be so close. The manager was also flexible with our breakfast and they took credit card too. A wonderful stay.

Beautiful Riad, very close to central medina area, but nice and quiet. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. Beautiful room, and was given an upgrade. Peaceful area, short walk to main street. Breakfast was plentiful and freshly prepared. Overall, an excellent choice for a visit to Fes.
