Ubud Hidden Villa Yone village

Cozy with friendly staff.

Kind of dark at night and you have to enter through a tiny alleyway (only the width of a small umbrella) that is not accessible by car on the main road. If you have young kids or bulky baggage it would be a challenge since the alleyway is not evenly paved and had some worn out metal drain plates. We were there in Dec (rainy season) which made things more difficult, even though the alleyway is only about 70m from the main road to the villa. We reached at midnight on the first night but on the second night we were not able to find staff on the grounds after 8/9 pm. This was concerning as we travelled with young kids and the grounds were not locked, meaning anyone could have walked right in to the rooms. And the rooms only have a tiny lock on the door, which is sufficient, but we felt better knowing a staff was on the grounds in case of anything. After mentioning this, they made sure someone was present during the nights. This was especially appreciate since on the last night we heard knocks on one of the rooms (despite not seeing anyone outside) and concurrently in the family bungalow a dead mice turned up, so having staff there to keep an eye out helped us sleep a bit better. The aircon in the family bungalow was working poorly so the ventilation wasn't the best, and the beds on the loft only had fans which were not enough to abate the heat absorbed during the day. Couldn't get warm water to work properly which made it hard to bathe kids but luckily we had other rooms booked too so the problem was easily managed. Overall a cosy place if you don't mind some wear and tear, and the service and friendly attitude of the staff made up for the inconveniences. We had their breakfast for the first 2 days, but due to lack of options and availability, we opted for food deliveries which were much more convenient in our case.

Fridge was not working Tv I as advertise for villa we book but wasn’t there Once we told them they put tv on but wasn’t working properly and

Location was close to supermarkets, pool and room facilities were comfortable and clean. Nice touches such as towels made into swans and frangipani flowers as decorations.

Doors do not close properly, leaving large gaps which allowed in mosquitoes although not a major problem when we stayed. Shower hot water was impossible to regulate-either too hot or too cold, unable to get correct temperature.

Lovely Villa, really spacious and comfy beds. In a great setting and easy walk into Ubud. Staff were super helpful and helped arrange a driver for us to have a tour of the local area. Pool was a big hit with the kids and lovely to cool off in. Breakfast was delicious every morning!

Aircon wasn’t brilliant but there were enough fans to keep the temperature reasonable at night.

My family and I had a great time in the Hidden Villa. it’s a beautiful oasis in the center of Ubud. a lot of love and dedication spent to look this place so wonderful. the garden is super pretty, the house is super stylishly decorated with a great rice field view. The stuff is super friendly and helpful. it was heartwarming to spend a couple night in this place and we would definitely come back 🌸❤️ thank you!

everything was very nice, we wish we could stay longer

Excellent service from wonderful hosts. Amazing breakfasts served in the open air restaurant and with only three villas, you likely get to eat alone. Beautiful villa and it was lovely sitting on the deck over looking the rice fields. Although it is near a busy road you can barely hear it.

Be mindful of a little walk to the restaurants in town and the taxi can take a little while due to traffic.
