La struttura é sul mare con una bellissima vista e una bella piscina. Possibilità di fare diving o altre attività. Cibo mooooolto buono fatto al momento (aperto fino alle 21 di sera non più tardi). Camere enormi condizionatori ben posizionati che non danno direttamente sul letto. Balconcino con sedie sdraio tavolino asciugami. Bagno con doccia e vasca esterna in mezze la natura, un po’ wild ma non abbiamo avuto sorprese.

Estremamente isolata. Difficile da raggiungere e in una zona senza Grab o gorek e tutto chiude presto (intorno le 21). Molti insetti sopratutto zanzare. La viuzza che dà verso l’entrata è inquietante la notte/ sera non c’è illuminazione. Non sapevamo dell’orario perciò abbiamo chiesto un taxi visto che ci era stato detto che l’hotel offriva un servizio taxi, con il signore della sicurezza ci siamo messi d’accordo e ci ha detto che fosse 250k andata e ritorno. Purtroppo il giorno dopo siamo stati chiamati dicendo che fosse 450k e che avessimo dato solo 250k. Il prezzo, estremamente esagerato, o è stato inventato dal tipo della sicurezza per farsi soldi o si è sbagliato quando ci ha comunicato il prezzo detto dal tassista. Siamo stati presi a parole dicendoci “se non avete soldi non venite a bali”. Abbiamo chiesto di parlare con la manager spiegando che ci fosse stato un malinteso ma ci ha attaccato il telefono in faccia senza mai più farsi viva.

- Restaurant / Food: Food quality was very poor. The only tolerable dish was the chicken satay. There does not appear to be a dedicated chef; food seems to be prepared by general staff. I tried spaghetti, an omelet, and chicken curry, and all of them were bad. When I pointed out that the chicken curry was extremely watery and not close to how it should be, I asked to replace it with another dish. The staff attempted to charge me for the replacement, and when I politely asked to remove it from the bill, I received pushback and an unpleasant attitude from the manager. Considering this is one of the most expensive resorts in Tulamben, the food and service quality should be much higher. In the end, I ate most of my meals elsewhere in Tulamben. - Hot water: The hot water temperature is excessively high. It is very easy to burn yourself, even when just washing your hands, if you do not carefully mix in enough cold water. - Jacuzzi / water heating: The resort uses a small-capacity water boiler, which makes it impossible to fill the jacuzzi with warm water. The water runs out quickly, leaving the jacuzzi cold and not enjoyable to use. A tankless water heater would be a much better solution. - Water & sustainability: There is no water cooler available at the restaurant or reception. Instead, guests receive two plastic water bottles per day, which contributes to plastic waste. In Bali especially, it would be much better to offer water refill stations so guests can refill reusable bottles. - Communication & guest experience: For several days before my departure, I was the only guest at the resort, yet I felt largely ignored by the staff. The restaurant could close as early as 6 pm without any prior notice, even though it was usually open until 9 pm. Construction work also started on the path to the shore, making access more difficult, but no communication or warning was provided.

Het hele complex was in een woord prachtig. Goed verzord over het hele resort, schoon, elke dag kwam personeel bij ons de tuin harken, bladeren werden constant weggeveegd, groen elke dag water gegeven. De bungalows zijn mooi ingericht en de "badkamer" is een echte highlight!! Groot en schoon en iedere dag verse bloemen overal. De bedden zijn van goede kwaliteit en een goede klamboe. Het is smorgens vroeg heerlijk genieten op je eigen terras, met zitje en heerlijke luxe ligstoelen. Ook het ontbijt wordt naar wens vers gemaakt en voldoende keuze, dit geldt ook voor de lunch en het diner. Voldoende ligbedden en parasols bij het prachtige zwembad met fantastisch uitzicht. Ook het personeel is heel vriendelijk en zeer hulpvaardig bij alles wat je nodig hebt.

Qua resort is ons echt niks tegengevallen, beter dan verwacht. Het "strand" bestaat hoofdzakelijk uit stenen en maakt het moelijk om wandelingen te maken. Ook bij het zwemmen in de zee is niet geheel makkelijk om in te lopen. Direct voor het resort zwemmen wel vissen maar moeilijk te zien gezien de donkere ondergrond. Maar daar kan het resort niks aan doen maar wel het vermelden waard.

Lencois e toalhas manchados. Difícil acesso com pouca sinalização.
