Toyabali-Resort, Boutique Beach Villas

Toyabali is right on the beach with an infinity pool. Acts as a fully contained resort and we did not even try to venture into the village. The food was adequate and probably the same as most places we ate in Bali. Full service, they arranged for snorkel stuff and for our ride to airport, and brought drinks to the pool. The mama san was nice,, but the rest of the staff was a little rude, especially after a long, long ride to get there. Walking distance to snorkel to the shipwreck. Highlight! The rooms are very clean and the outdoor shower and toilet were charmingly different!

The room would not cool down during the day even with the ac running.

An outstanding place on the island. We were looking for something away from the crowds in the south and we found it. The hotel is located on the shoreline, wonderful coral reef in front. Very intimate and pleasant place because the resort has only 6 bungalows. Easy to make friends with other guests. Staff wonderful and courteous. They will handle everything you ask. Massages, trips, drivers, diving, off-card dishes - you name it. I do not recommend listening to comments from people who complain that they came to the jungle and there are ants and bugs or that the beach is rocky. Yes Bali is a volcanic island and the beaches are naturally rocky. Local supermarket and ATM in walking distance. We are very happy we ended up in this place and will miss it.

The breakfast.

Everything about it was wonderful. Beautiful grounds, rooms, veiw etc. The staff was kind, friendly and thoughtful. I would recommend this resort to anyone visiting Bali.

Literally the only thing I would change is to make the beds a bit softer. The were comfortable, but very firm.

Excellent location with sea view and foot access to the beach, near dive sites, a few restaurants and supermarket near by Spacious room, very nice outdoor bathroom. Beautiful garden

Our second stay at Toyali Bali in Tulamben was even better than the first. We spent five nights enjoying exceptional service from start to finish. The food was a standout! Every meal—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—was fresh, flavorful, and a true highlight of our stay. The dinner cart offered a wide range of delicious options. The hospitality was top-notch. General Manager Ibu Made and her team made us feel welcome and cared for throughout our stay. Our private villa was cleaned daily during breakfast, making it feel like a perfect retreat—always spotless when we returned. For a peaceful escape with great food and excellent service, Toyali Bali is the ideal choice. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!
