Swift holidays at Combe Haven Holiday Park

Comfortable bed and quiet location

We chose the property as I filtered “having swimming pool” on booking.com Unfortunately we weren’t allowed to use the swimming pool as we were “private guests”. Be aware when booking through this site that you can’t use the facilities at Combe Haven. Also, there was no toilet roll, washing up liquid, tea towel or dishcloth when we arrived. Upon request these were brought to us the next morning, but I’d already bought some at the nearby Aldi. Definitely ok, but I feel a bit misled by the promise of a swimming pool when there wasn’t one we could use.

Fantastic location, 40 min drive to Camber Sands Beach, nicely furnished and equipped, comfortable beds, close to onsite shop, restaurant, playground, swimming pool and arcades. It has pleasant and relaxing vibe.

We were allowed to check out a bit later due to the inconvenience experienced, The caravan is functional maybe more suitable for small families with kids rather than 4 adults.

We were 4 guests and only 1 towel per person was provided ,they were all unusable (torn and dirty) , we had to wait 24h to receive the towels and we only got 2 . No hand soap or shower gel was provided either. The check in time is showing as 'from 12.00' but we could only access the property from 19.00 so make sure you read all info before booking. To use the swimming pool there is an extra charge but the attendant wasn't able to tell us how much , as there was a very long queue we gave up. Restaurant on site is not recommended.

Very nice caravan park and great positioning of the caravan. It was the warmest week of the year so were very grateful to find fans had been left.

We had a lovely stay, the caravan was really nice, really clean, and had comfy sofas and beds. In a great location for everything while having a lot of privacy from other caravans. It was a nice touch having tea and coffee provided, and the kitchen is really well equipped, had everything we could have needed. There is also wifi provided. Loved having a table outside too in this weather. Thanks for a lovely stay

Extremely hot weather - we were delighted to have a fan for each bedroom. Excellent facilities - had everything we needed for our stay, and more!! Netflix and WiFi were great. Far enough from main park area, so no disturbance at night. Onsite shop is very well stocked. Car park close to caravan. Fantastic communication from owner before and during stay when we had a question. We will definitely return here and highly recommend it.
