Yurt with Hot Tub near Hartington, Peak District

Gaia's Hideaway is the perfect solution for those who prefer a quiet accommodation that is still immersed in nature but without having to stay in a campervan or a tent, and with all the perks of a high-quality AirBnb! We loved the log burner, which gave an extra cozy vibe to the yurt, and the private hot tub. Location-wise, the site is well-placed (only 3 minutes from the biggest nearby village by car, and only 20 minutes from Bakewell!), but also far from the trafficked country roads. It was simply perfect!

The list is too long. The yurt is gorgeous. The little bathroom delightful, with everything one.needs. The hot tub is just glorious.amd especially places where it is to make most of the beautiful scenery and stars at night.

Absolutely nothing. It was pretty much perfect.

The yurt 'Gaia's Hideaway' was absolutely stunning inside and out. The bed and bedding were extremely comfortable and cosy, the towels and dressing gowns were luxurious. The hot tub was so relaxing - you can tell it was expensive, it even has a touch screen! The little bathroom was underfloor heated and smelt amazing. Clearly there has been no expense spared. The yurt even has an induction hob and air fryer! The location is beautiful, close to Hartington and the Manifold Way. It's centrally located and accessible to the whole Peak District. I would definitely stay again and I highly highly recommend it!

Nothing! It was absolutely perfect.

Even though it was on a busy campsite, once you were in the hideaway it did feel like you were alone and it was really peaceful. The yurt set up was lovely and the hot tub was obviously a great addition. We didn’t need to interact too much with anyone as it was literally just check yourself in and out but the time we didn’t speak to the manager she was really friendly and gave us some good advice regarding a walk with our dog.

If we are being really picky (and we are because it really was a great set up) the only things were the noise of the dehumidifier at night time and there was a light that kept coming on at night when we moved which was a bit distracting as we are used to silence and dark at night, but this is really picky as the rest was lovely! There were a few people who walked past on a footpath so just be aware if outside in your swim wear or changing inside the yurt - shut the door! 😊

It was luxury, in a stunning area and the local pub was a bonus

We absolutely loved the hot tub and the privacy from there. It was roomy and looked so pretty lit up at night. We loved the fire 🔥 which we did light one night when it was lashing it down with rain and it was so cosy lying in bed watching it flicker. We loved looking at the top window of the yurt it was quite magical! The peace and quiet was wonderful and we had a little robin come join us most days🐦‍⬛ We also loved the Shetland ponies 🐴! The toilet block was very modern clean and warm. The shower was amazing and lashings of hot water for both of us to consecutively have long showers. Loved the Hollywood mirror above the sink too. No problems with toilet flushing plumbing very good. Loved the comfy robes they provide after getting out the hot tub so warm 🤗.

It's minor things really like we decided to cook as we had bought some food and it was so cosy in the yurt but hadn't bought basics like salt, pepper or sauces assuming there may be these things. Also no cooking oil, foil or air fryer liners. Had we known we would have bought them with us as we assumed they would be provided. Like I say it's minor things but maybe something to mention people need to bring with them for a 3 day trip. Also the weather could have been a little kinder lol 🤭☀️🌝

The location was beautiful. The yurt was private and very clean . The towels / robes / bedding were new and gave the stay a luxury feel. We had beautiful weather and enjoyed our experience very much. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a night away here .

The things that could have been improved were , the 1. The BBQ s ignition was broken and needs addressing. The staff were good and provided us with something to light it with manually but this could be potentially dangerous. 2. The check in/out times of 3.00 and 10.00 cut the break a little short especially if only staying one night. A check out time of 11.00 would better.

Private and secluded. Very clean and bed comfortable. A proper hideaway. Everything we needed. Relaxing hot tub. Ideal for a couple who want to unwind and have a romantic get away .
