Hilltop Hut

Beautiful place ,family are lovely. Recommend anybody to stay there .so cuete.

Nice area for walks and cute little town.

Photos where Deciving, hut to close to house. Also no privacy in the summer house or whilst using the table and chairs. Fence offering no privacy from house or prying eyes. That top attic window overlooking the hut I'd expect a little old lady on a rocking chair to be watching the garden. Wi-Fi wasn't up to much. Other than that a nice area.

The location and view

The shepherds hut is tired and shabby inside not like the photos. On arrival was met by someone who was still cleaning and arrived gone 4pm even though I was contacted an given the time of arrival it was not ready. The pathway to the hut has lovely flower beds but they needed cutting back to pass with bags as its incredibly steep to ascend the stairway. Tea/coffee was provided but no Milk, such a shame as I had prebooked 2 x nights and 1 tiny bottle of milk is 95p so missing touches like this. I also found out after washing my hair that there is no hairdryer! Remember to take one!

I had a lovely few days get-away in the Shepherd's Hut, really peaceful and comfortable and in a beautiful part of the world, with views over the Long Mynd. It was great to have the whole top terrace of the garden, complete with a summer house to sit in. Thank you!

Overall, my experience was great. Just a few little suggestions: - There seemed to be no obvious way to close the summer house door from the inside, which would have been helpful when the sun went down and in colder and windier conditions. - While the Hut is compact, I agreed with a previous reviewer that it would be possible to provide a little more surface space to make it easier to prepare food.

The view and the privacy

The place is a bit tired

The hilltop hut is a compact, comfy space with fabulous views across Church Stretton to the Mynd. It is an easy 10 minute walk to town. The directions, parking and communication were excellent. I totally recommend.

My only drawback was the morning light.

A lovely hut and stay, felt very safe and was so cosy and had lots of great amenities! Beautiful view and very comfy bed!!

A perfect location for relaxing after a day of big climbs. Cosy, comfy, restful.

Shower could have been hotter.
