right size for one person, walking distance to city centre-Ivalo. quiet neighborhood. WhatsApp communication with the caretaker was quick.

couldn’t lock the door or got locked in. each time it was a struggle 🙈 I know others had similar problems, I could tell from the noises.

Inexpensive option in the height of the winter season

The room is very small, and a large part of it is dedicated to the bathroom. The floor was very cold so bring wollen socks in winter. Parking is challenging if all the 4 rooms are full, there is de facto space only for 3 cars. You need a car to go to the centre e.g. for dinner as the cooking facilities are limited to the microwave oven.

Very convenient location for us, near the road and next to a gas station. Very private as you don't need to meet anyone to get into the cabin, very easy to get in (classic box with a code for the keys inside). We had space to park the car. Big bed and enough space in the bathroom, the room itself it's not big but it had everything we needed and it felt warm and cozy enough. Overall a good one night stay, good price/quality ratio.

It took us some time to find our cabin. It's possible that I didn't understand well the directions but for some reason we couldn't easily spot cabin number 3 from the car when arrived. You have to pay to rent the bed sheets, it's not much but it'd be perfect if they were included (same with towels)

Price could be a little lower

The room is spotless. The facilities are enough for a short stay. The host replied messages fast and always gave useful information to cope with my problem.

The cottage is far from city center. Visiters could buy some food before heading to accommodation.

I stayed here for an extended weekend in Ivalo, Finnish Lapland. It is fantastic value for money, and was a lovely, warm and cosy place to stay. The accommodation is basic, no cooking facilities, and consists of a sleeping area and private shower, toilet, there are 4 such units in the main building. It is ideal if you have a car, I didn't but I also did not mind walking the 4 km into Ivalo town. There is a safe and wide footpath and cycle lane that is separated from the main road. It is possible to get a breakfast, or tasty toasted cheese and ham sandwich and coffee in the nearby Ivalo River Camping reception building located about 200m as you head for the main road. The accommodation is mostly suitable for solo travelers and couples.

Local transport consists of taxis and regional buses only. All are comfortable but it is wise to check out bus availability and timetables before your trip because there are limited times available to other regions of interest like Inari or Saariselka. Soundproofing between the accommodation units is minimal but this is not really surprising considering the type of accommodation this chalet is.

Quite okay for overnight stay. Parking next to front door, nice and clean small room with private bathroom.

The room was very clean and comfortable and good value for money. I also like the microwave oven, kettle, fridge and basic meal utensils. The private shower and toilet compartment is last s plus feature for the cabin styled accommodation.

If you stay for less than 3 days the bed linen and towel are not included in the rates.
