Brown's Bay Resort

We stayed in one of the Glamping tents and it was great. One of the best Glamping experiences, ever! Right on the water, well provisioned, great, nearby bathrooms, just checked all the boxes. Great floating restaurant as part of the diverse complex of marina, RV park, tent sites and the glamping sites. Most enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the whales, cruise ships and tug boats pass by.

Spectacular view! Cabin is new, nicely decorated and well-built. We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. We saw eagles and whales from our balcony. To our amazement and delight, two well-lit cruise ships appeared each night and passed by our cabin several yards out the inlet. That was priceless! I would definitely recommend staying here and would stay here again in a heartbeat. Outdoor seating on balcony was greatly appreciated.

More seating in the living room would be nice. There were only three of us so we were fine, but if you have more than 3 people, it might not work for indoor seating.

Beautiful views with humpback whales swimming by. We'd booked a cliffside glamping tent which was a great size and really well equipped. Shower and WC facilities also good. Comfortable bed.

The resort itself is down a 7km gravel track so the car was filthy and it adds 10 minutes to your journey. We had a small hire car and it wasn't really a suitable surface for the car we had unfortunately.

10/10 experience. The glamping space was stunning, with the entire front of the canvas tent opening to views of the mountains and ocean, where friendly seals visited almost every night and we even saw a group of dolphins swim by. The kitchen had everything we needed, BBQ, toaster, coffee pot, hot plate, and fridge; the bed was so comfortable, and the living area comfy and so spacious too; and the shared amenities (bathroom, shower) were consistently spotless. The food at the marina restaurant was delicious, and one of the wildlife tours we booked (discovery) picked us up from right in the harbor. I can't say enough about our stay here, if you're thinking about it -- book!

Wow! The peace and the views were absolutely wonderful. Our beautiful loft cabin came with nice quality decor, thoughtful touches and full kitchen gadgets for cooking. I enjoyed the blankets for cooler times sitting on the deck. The hot tub was open and a welcome bonus!!
