Sen-no-Mori

Wonderful host and delicious food.

Sen no Mori is truly one of the best ryokan experiences we’ve ever had. You genuinely feel isolated and secluded, surrounded by nature in the middle of a forest—perfect for peace, relaxation, and a complete escape from the busy world. The food is absolutely superb, thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented, making every meal a highlight of the stay. The host and staff are exceptionally courteous and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and well cared for. This is more than just a place to stay—it’s a memorable experience that is absolutely worth it. Highly recommended for anyone seeking tranquility, outstanding hospitality, and authentic ryokan charm.

The time felt too short — we wished we could have stayed longer to fully enjoy the experience

Ci siamo sentiti coccolati sin dal primo momento. Abbiamo trovato cortesia e gentilezza. Struttura immersa nel bosco. Villa ampia con pavimento riscaldato e piccolo onsen. Il mangiare semplicemente straordinario. Abbiamo trascorso 2 mesi in Giappone girando diverse prefetture e mai abbiamo trovato piatti così saporiti e ben presentati. Cucina kaiseki. Cucina di alto livello (selezionata nel 2018 dalla guida Michelin). Nostro figlio di 8 anni ha sempre mangiato i piatti (da adulto) presentati. Ci siamo fermati per due notti e lo chef ha variato il menù, stupendoci sempre. Altamente consigliato e assolutamente da provare se si è in zona. Grazie allo staff per l'esperienza che ci ha regalato.

獨立小屋與露台，兼具隱私與安寧，雖然小屋內有湯屋，但居住區域沒有常見的潮溼霉味.一泊二食的餐點精緻又美味，且份量十足.
