Crossways Country Inn

Location, quiet, pleasant view out big window, good heater, kettle, neat and tidy and reasonable condition, and well made beds, teatowel, carpet though a bit old. Bookings and easy contact with staff by texts and key collection, price. Looked a good tv but I did not use it .

Extras needed eg breakfast bowls, cutlery, coffee plunger, more and nicer tea and coffee, face washers, cleaning up materials such as a cloth, extra blankets. Small room and freezer, and no wifi or microwave . Beds a bit uncomfortable.

Great location, close to town. Easy to walk to restaurants and shops.

The shower pressure and cold tap very sensitive. Weak pressure and then slightly move To cold in unit 6 and it froze us.

Cosy, clean and comfortable.

Needs a spare blanket, I was a little cold and don’t like sleeping with the heater on.

The location was terrific. The privacy was good. The heater was great. The shower pressure was good. The views were beautiful.

The bed was not comfortable. There were not enough pillows. There was no toaster, no bowls, no utensils except tea spoons. There was no tea towel or detergent. Parking was difficult.

Walking distance from the town centre. Nice little children friendly place perfect for a small family. Very neat and clean. Felt like home. Our host was very generous. The rooms were warm before we arrived.

One extra pillow for each bed would have been great.

Heather keeps shutting off - not good for winter. No wifi. Possibly can consider electric blankets?

This place has a lovely historic charm & a brilliant location. I fell asleep to the sound of frogs in the nearby creek. The rooms are separate bungalows comprising of a bedroom with a double bed, a table with 2 chairs & small bathroom. There is an electric kettle with tea & instant coffee. As well as a small fridge.

Being an old building, it has drafts. The room didn't heat up despite having the heater on all night. So make sure you pack warm jammies. The only place to fill the kettle is the bathroom. The main building looks to have a resarunt/bar, but I don't think this has operated for some time.

Would have been great to have had a toaster. Also a microwave would have been great
