The Blue Water Motel

This is the best motel we’ve ever stayed at! So cute, great location & awesome value for money! The aesthetic was perfect, everything new & had lots of space for a motel! Can’t fault it!

Der Strand nicht wie gedacht vor der Haustüre, man muss etwas um die Ecke laufen, er ist in ca. 5 Min. erreichbar. Es gibt keine Rezeption.

Location great as was the dog friendly beach very close by. Facilities are amazing and very clean and tidy. Highly recommend specially if you have a pet.

Booked a room with a courtyard hoping it was pet friendly, however a lot to be desired, needs cleaning as very mossy and slippery

Loved the ease of check-in, with the caveat that it does require downloading an app which might not suit everyone, but it was super easy and removed the need for worrying about keys or time of day. Loved having access to the 24hr kitchen and large fridge with cooking utensils and water on tap (carbonated and still). Staff are lovely and super friendly and helpful and changed towels every day, and were very much on hand to answer any questions and help with anything. We really loved all the details in the decor of the rooms, including a desk to sit at, coffee, tea & toaster etc and the provision of fantastic bath products and our bed was really comfortable. This is a really charming place to stay, and walking distance to anything else you need, and a short drive to Fingal Head, and the beaches further north or south, and so close to everything Kingy has to offer. And the coffee cart on-site is the BEST - morning coffee on the doorstep which you could have in your PJs if you wanted to!

My only suggestion would be to consider providing some coat hangers for hanging clothes on the hooks in the rooms. Also bathtowels are a must, as the bathroom/shower design means there isn't a shower screen per se and the bathroom floor can get very wet as a result. Otherwise fab!
