Meningie Waterfront Motel

The best thing about this hotel is that the linens and bathroom are clean and the proximity to the lake. Its literally a few metres from your room and you can hear the lake swishing back and forth. Its lovely. Excellent for bird watching and relaxing. There is a small fridge, table to sit at, tv, container to wash dishes with set if plates and cutlery provided. They provided shampoo/conditioner and body wash. There is a simple coffee tea and kettle set up too. Worth a stay.

Honestly, it's an old, worn motel. The photos are accurate. But that does lend it a certain charm. The fly screens are not great in some spots and the room could be a little cleaner (eg spider webs under table). But for the price and position on the lake, we'd still choose it again. Thank you.

It’s RIGHT on the lake, you almost feel as though you’re on a boat. Spotlessly clean, great bed, beautiful linens, super comfy, really good pillows, lovely hosts Marie & Jean-Paul let use the laundry & washing line. There’s a guest kitchenette and we bought takeaway food and ate on the balcony on the lake edge, had our tea/ coffee there and lived this quiet relaxing stay. Thank you.🙏

Room clean but very compact.

Location location location. Staff super friendly and helpful. We stayed in the family room. Very clean, beds comfy. Everything you need. Lovely and quiet, with the water right outside the window. Grassed area with seating right on the water, where we had a glass of wine at sunset, then a cuppa next morning.

Paper thin walls to hear television and discussion of neighbours in adjoining room until midnight. Noise of trucks and cars at full speed on the highway out the front.

Great location. Great Wi-fi and shower. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean but small. No toaster or plates provided.

Rooms small but nice area overlooking water for guests to enjoy

Perfect location for us to attend family Christmas.

Had a very friendly spider in bed.
