Coral View Villas

Absolutely everything. The staff are exceptional. The bungalows were pristine. We wanted for nothing. The restaurant was perfectly placed, and the food was delicious. The staff went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. Looking forward to returning.

A big compliment to the hotel’s restaurant. The breakfast is simple but very good and varied, with plenty of fresh fruit as well as local specialties. We also chose to eat at the restaurant every evening. I honestly can’t understand some of the reviews I’ve read. There was more than enough choice on the menu. We dined there for five evenings and there were still many dishes I would have liked to try. The portion sizes are good, and overall I was very satisfied with both the quality of the food and the value for money.

I booked this hotel because it had an “exceptional” rating on Booking.com, which I unfortunately cannot agree with, so I was quite disappointed. The villas are clearly outdated and could definitely use some renovation. Lipah Beach is supposedly the most beautiful beach in Amed, but when we arrived, there was already quite a lot of trash in the water. After two days, an extreme amount of garbage washed up on the beach overnight. You would have had to walk through the trash to enter the sea, there were even dirty diapers floating in the water. As a result, we only used the pool after that. Bali clearly has a serious waste problem that needs to be addressed openly in order to be solved. I was particularly shocked when one of the hotel managers told us at breakfast that it “always looks like this after a festival.” Indonesian New Year had taken place a few days earlier. The beach bars to the left and right of the hotel at least cleaned their sections of the beach, but at Coral View Villas, the trash was simply ignored.

La villa face à la mer pour une famille de 4. Le restaurant bord de mer très agréable, la piscine, la très grande salle de bain en extérieur. Excellent massage au spa juste en face. En dehors de l’hôtel qq restaurants très bien. Snorkeling à faire le matin, l’après midi la mer est agitée.

La porte du logement pas assez haute et risque de se cogner pour les hommes.

Der var fantastisk stemning og udsigt. Man var tæt ved pool og vandet. Det var simpelthen noget af det fedeste. Meget meget sødt personale. De hjalp os bl.a. med at booke færgebilletter til Gili øerne samt transport. Meget meget tilfreds :)

Ik heb in een van de bungalows geslapen. De bungalows zijn ruim opgezet, met een heerlijke buitenruimte en staan vrij van elkaar. Het is er mooi groen en ligt direct aan zee. Het was heerlijk om zo de zee in te lopen en te kunnen zwemmen. Ik had geluk werd mij verteld, want de ze was schoon, de week daarvoor was er veel plastic aangespoeld. Voor het hotel liggen allemaal vissersbootjes die verschillende diensten aanbieden. Ik heb gesnorkeld en sunrise gekeken vanaf de zee. Beiden waren een prachtige ervaring!

Ik heb heel onrustig geslapen, vanwege de vele blaffende straathonden en kraaiende hanen. Dat ging echt de hele nacht door. Het bed lag ook niet helemaal lekker.
