"Would definitely come again!"

The tatami room was spacious and comfortable. We also got a great view of the river. The best thing were the people working there. Everyone was so friendly! They booked a table for us at a delicious sushi restaurant, rented out yukata, took us on a nighttime cruise to see the moon as people did during the Heian period. We also enjoyed a nice karaoke night in the bar and had a great conversation with the barista. When we told him about visiting the Kashima-shrine torii in the water, he offered to take us there on his boat again. We only stayed for one night but it felt like a week worth of fun and interesting activities.

Activities such as yukata, cruise and karaoke came with additional costs but at a reasonable price. If you're prepared to pay a little extra to see more of the river and the area, it is definetely worth it.
