Jasri Bay Hideaway

If you are searching for a nice wooden rustic villa directly on the oceanfront, away from any crowded areas of the island, you have found it. Located near a rice plantation and a jungle-like forest, you can reach the resort consisting of 4 villas by car or scooter. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, the terraces huge. There is a nice swimming pool and a lush garden surrounds the area. Refrigerator, air-conditioning, wifi are available. A small chocolate factory with cafeteria is located next door. Breakfast and other meals can be ordered from the reception and will be served at your private villa as there is no common restaurant. The food was great, healthy and fresh. The personnel is extremely friendly and helpful. All in all, a perfect spot for intimate relaxation.

Imagine, that you are in a Balinese-style wooden villa near a jungle. The villa has a lot of doors and windows which do not close tightly, but also big ventilation grids that are not covered with glass. Because of these reasons, there is the possibility that some animals easily get into your living space. We received the unwanted visit of a HUGE RAT staring at us in the bathroom tub in the second morning of our stay! After we called the reception, the gardener got rid of it and said this can easily happen as they live in the garden among with lizards, spiders, etc. If you do not want to spend all your time at the villa, you will definitely need a taxi because of the remote location. Nevertheless, with Grab app. you will easily find a driver with low transportation costs. Jasri beach has black sand and is right near the villas but is full of garbage, as nobody cleans it. The pool is not very big but we found it to be clean. In the night the sound of the waves is very loud and the wind blows through the doors and windows even if they are closed, so if you have sleeping problems, bring some earplugs as well. Check your bill before paying! Although airport transfer was included in the price, they have put it on our bill but deleted the amount after we observed it. Be aware, that although this part of the island is in average cheaper than the Denpasar region, the resort is much more expensive than other housing amenities and you do not have any other meal option but the menu offered on spot.

good breakfast on your terrace, chocolate factory next door for treats, very private resort if you want to get away from it all. Fab ocean views and pleasant walk to fishing village and surf warung.

Not the most powerful of showers. Very close to the ocean which can be noisy on occasions with a high sea state.
