Eiheiji Hakujukan

We loved the place and would have stayed longer if we could. The staff were so friendly, kind and helpful. We really enjoy the sound of the river right next to the property and the beautiful surroundings. We woke up to go to the morning chanting session and also a Zazen in the afternoon. It was a really enlightening experience, and we managed to absorb the Zen atmosphere, bringing it home with us here. Highly recommended for those who wish to escape the crowds of the cities or urban areas. - Venusia

Incredible. The staff is simply wonderful, helpful, knowledgable and really so zen. The hotel is beautiful, super clean, the food is phenomenal and the facilities are 10/10 too: the shared onsen bath and the meditation room were a special addition to an already amazing stay. You can also arrange directly through the reception activities like sutra copying, zazen meditation at the temple as well as a morning visit to the ceremony of the temple. A unique experience overall, would absolutely visit again.

J'ai énormément apprécié la taille de mon logement ainsi que son confort, son calme et le bruit de la rivière qui coule à proximité. Quant à la qualité de la nourriture, je félicite les personnes qui s'en occupent: C ETAIT EXCELLENT!!!!!!! Encore merci.
