Stucco Lodge

Close, but not too close to the city center. Quiet location. Park-like setting. Trees and lawn well maintained with quiant sitting area. Pool available in the Summer. Bananas and apple fritters for breakfast, and plentiful coffee available in the office. Owner is very friendly and accommodating. He upgraded us to a King room for no additional charge. We were in room 10, an end unit, which backed up against a treed hillside. This was a great value compared to other accommodations in Bangor.

No coffee maker in the room. The room smelled a bit musty, and the plumbing was particular...the toilet works perfectly if you don't hold the handle down for too long. The good far outweighed the bad. Perhaps I am more particular than the plumbing.

The staff was super friendly! Good location and clean rooms! The Apple fritters for breakfast perfect for on the run if you driving into Acadia or Bar Harbor only about an hour away!
