Platinum Holiday Caravan

Comfortable and luxurious caravan with a stunning view to the mountains and green fields!!! Staff are very helpful and easy to communicate. We had a great relaxing break!!!

Staff : Note that the caravan was located in a wider "caravan park" which I guess maintained by a central corporation at the site. However for these several "private units", there was no reception facility, hence we just communicated via the Booking.com App (friendly in nature). The response time was very short i.e. same day and/or within hours. Check in process was super easy - the door was left unlocked and the keys are left on the kitchen table. Facilities : Inside, everything was complete and rather new. You will have all you need to enjoy your time there. For kids, there was also small play ground at the park (we didn't go as it was cold). It has 2 set of showers and toilets (convenient for 4 of us). Hot water running great with good pressure. All top notch. Cleanliness : Clean, and I recognised there was no shortcut taken when clean every inch of the house. Comfort : Bed and the caravan's atmosphere were comfortable and cosy. Value Money : We were travelling during autumn school holiday, and comparing other options around Lake District area, this is considered reasonable. Location : Inside the park and its surrounding - quiet and peaceful. From the caravan, we could see the sheep and rolling hills. Occasionally we saw hare/ rabbits too!. Within Lake District area, although most things are at least 20min away (normal for such a big nature park and area). Hence you must need a car on your own. Others: We are family of 4. Internet was OK but not too strong. We were there exploring Lake District, hiking Cat Bells with kids and went visiting the small towns until Windemere. You will have your own parking in front of the Caravan. Since this is within a remote area, everything else are quite far (grocery stores, tank stations etc.). Hence, come prepared.

There were flies inside the caravan, not sure where there were coming from.

Lovely ,peaceful relaxing stay in luxury. Fourth visit to Skiddaw view park. We simply love it. So quiet and peaceful yet a short drive to Keswick. Just perfect 👌

Having to come home. We didn't want to leave .

Large clean living space, big kitchen and bedrooms, two bathrooms, the caravan was like a tardis! Great location for the northern lakes and the coast too.

We loved it x we wish we booked for a week instead off 5 days x kids wanted to stay
