Broome Vacation Village

Nice to be out of the hustle and bustle of the middle of town, but not too far away from everything. Pool was fabulous after a hot, humid day. Accommodation was clean, tidy and comfortable. Happy, friendly staff. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Clean and good facilities such as the kitchen, laundry, pool and AC

Too far from the centre and places of interest - difficult to get around without a car. Laundry not open early and shop sold almost nothing useful - also open late in the morning.

1. Grounds security system, room appointment (kitchenette / layout / bathroom) were all excellent. 2. In fact, we came here 2-years ago and vowed then that if we were ever to visit Broome again then we would come to the Vacation Village which we did and were not disappointed. 3. The wife loved the kitchenette and the shower / toilet arrangement. The suite was also spacious and confortable. 3. The magnificent large and deep (8 ft) salted swimming pool had practically no chlorine in it so we suffered no eye discomfort suffered no eye discomfort.

1. We selected the chalet suite and although it was very close to the swimming pool, we had to carry / wheel our luggage some distance to our cabin because of the communual layout of the units and the walking paths between them. Next time, I think I'd choose a cabin with its own parking bay. 2. After-hours check in / key collection was a bit of a "dog's breakfast" and awkward to say the least but luckily the park manager lives on site and came to our rescue. The problem is that your key is placed in an outside safe that requires you to dial in the combination numbers. The combination numbers are fully sent in an email but only partly sent by sms. The number rollers on the safe comprise three rows (upper row / middle row and bottom row) but there are no instructions provided as to what row to program? So after much trial and error and giving up we phoned the duty manager and he told us that we would have to open the email he sent us to get the full combination and program the centre roller scroll. It all worked then but I dread to think what we would have done if he wasn't available.

A little out of the central areas so have to drive everywhere (5 mins or so)
