Pines Motel

Good value for money. Would recommend

Was a nice quiet place with excellent staff.

This was a nice stop during our holiday. Staff was welcoming upon check-in. The room was clean and spacious. Even though the motel is close to the highway, it was very quiet at night. We walked to the restaurants and shopping across the street. We had a pleasant stay.

Very nice staff. Old property that needs some upgrading. But quite comfortable and clean. Hair dryer didn’t work and wifi hard to connect but it did eventually. Considering the price compared to most other hotels which were more expensive it was ok. Liked having 2 bedrooms.

Comfortable, large room in a motel. It was a nice surprise that someone came in and topped up the toilet roll, and replaced the towels we had used and put the air con on for our return. Just off the main highway so easy to find with lots of diners and a couple of supermarkets.

There is some noise from the road in the mornings but it didn’t bother us. Air con is very efficient but quite noisy so we used it to cool the room down and then turned it off overnight.

After a long 12-hour drive, we needed a place that was simple, affordable, and — most importantly — clean. This spot was exactly that. The room was modest, nothing fancy, but it was spotless and the bed was very comfortable, which made for a restful night. The small AC unit kept the room perfectly cool, and there was basic cable TV for some downtime. While the door has a standard lock, I would suggest adding a chain lock for a bit of extra peace of mind. Overall, a clean and comfortable stay that was just what we needed for a quick stopover.
