Wedger's Hut

Little hidden gem within walking distance of Lough derg with ample water activities. Lovely restaurant two doors down. Bernie was a lovely host and couldn't do enough for you.

The room was cosy and cute. Plenty big enough for us. The shower was lovely too. Bernie was absolutely lovely and the little breakfast touches, and a fridge were great. Location was absolutely perfect, stunning spot.

A quirky place. Exceptionally clean, comfortable beds, high enough ceiling so feels spacious inside, great tea and coffee facilities, microwave, toaster, a mini fridge with milk, water, juice, butter in it. Use of a washing machine and drier, shared kitchen and dining area. An ‘Open door’ feel to the place, very welcoming and safe. Bernie was a great host, extremely kind and always willing to offer help.

wasn’t much of a ‘dislike’ more of a tip in the warmer months maybe use a lighter duvet as we were very warm at night

Everything! Bernie and Willy were fantastic hosts who really went above and beyond. We had a fantastic time in Wedger's Hut, even though the weather wasn't great. It was a lovely and cosy spot.
