Junction Motel Sanson-Truck Motel

The owner was a very nice man. The place has been updated but shows evidence of its age. In time, I assume, there will be some additional work done to replace those areas that need it. There needs to be a closer attention to cleaning around the taps in the washbasin. The place did smell musty on arrival but that disappeared after a while. Importantly the place was clean. Overall we were very pleased to have stayed there and a great location.

Bit closer attention to cleaning in the bathroom around the base of the taps. I did one of them so it is easy to do. The skirting was rotten in the toilet of unit 1. Has been painted over but does need replacing. The musty smell usually comes from an old carpet and that can be a costly maintenance cost and if the owners are new then this will take a bit of time.

Basic hotel with all amenities provided. Very clean. The owner kindly offered extra time at check out as well as use of washing machines. Bed was comfy, staff very nice and friendly. Decent pricing and good location between torongaro national park and Wellington
