Nicely renovated room. Very friendly staff. Brolgas were enjoying the lawn sprinkler outside the front

A/C and fridge were not turned on on arrival during 42 deg days Tap/pipe under bathroom sink leaking, giving musty smell and soaking spare toilet paper roll. The toilet paper was replaced immediately on request.

It had all the comforts

The tap water had a strong smell of hydrogen sulphide. There was no signage in the room to say the water was unsuitable for cooking drinking etc (necessary for people who have a diminished sense of smell). There was a 2 litre jug in fridge that had 1.5 litres of water in it for drinking purposes, but considering the temperature of the day was in excess of 40 degrees it should have been full. Also the town power was out when we first arrived which they had no control over but the lack of good water was a fail

Nice and comfortable and good location within walking distance to town centre. Staff were very helpful with early check in and late departure.
