Very clean double pod. Location is right next to Juanda station.

Using an app for entry into the room. As usual in Jakarta there are rats around the area, so seeing a rat trap in the corridor 2 metres from where I was sleeping wasn't comforting , rather it made me think they may have rats getting in to the building. I must stress I did not see any sign of rats , and everywhere was clean , but a rat trap wasn't what I wanted to see.

One of our favourite places where we stayed until now. In Jakarta definitely our favourite (and only) one.

That we stayed only one night.

Affordable price for budget traveller, handy to railway station and food outlets, plenty of showers and toilets, use of kitchen with basic facilities is great

Pods are not soundproofed so can be noisy either from person in next pod or one above you, or from people moving about early morning, late at night.

A typical bobopod, good location,clean,hot shower and free drinking water. I would recommend it for one night.

The pods don't have windows,which is ok. But this time the common area didn't have any windows either. So you cannot see any sunlight or whether the rain stopped. There is no fresh air,so hanging out there is not fun (compared to the previous bobopods I had stayed at). Plus the access from the street is so easy that anyone can walk in, because the main door is often left open, so it didn't feel very safe .

Clean room & bathroom Very close to a train station

This is definitely not an accomodation for travellers. Even the common room is not really intended to hang out and talk to other travellers - also since there seem to be no other backpackers around (rather Indonesian people for work). Also if you check out but store your luggage there to come back in the afternoon to get it and get ready for a night bus, you are apparently not seen as a guest anymore and thus not allowed to use the (shared) bathroom to quickly shower or just to get rid of your contact lenses. No accomodation ever, that I had, treated guests like that. The "breakfast" is a joke: a microwave food with tons of plastic to throw away. The capsule room was so badly insulated that I heard every minute the timer of the microwave "breakfast" of other guests. Coffee out of a questionable machine had to be paid extra. You have to install and setup an app to checkin. The only thing it does is open the room through a QR code instead of a keycard. The setup process still requires that staff is present und you get a physical key for the shoe locker anyway. Thus I found the app quite irritating and pointless. In summary: This is the most unpersonal accomodation with exceptiobally unhelpful staff that I ever had. Is is the pure opposite of a hostel as I undeestand them.
