Whales and Waves

An amazing little paradise on this island. Surrounded by mountains, islands, and the ocean, this place offers breathtaking views. The property is spotless, with a beautiful palm grove and incredible sunrises and sunsets. The villa itself is stunning, both inside and out, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We originally planned to stay for just one day, but we’ve already extended our stay for three consecutive days because we love this island and this wonderful resort so much.

Location

The management was extremely unprofessional and made us feel unsafe as guests. During our stay, the locks to our villa were changed while we were out surfing and we were denied access to our paid room and personal belongings over an alleged kayak damage claim that they could not prove. I had already spoken with the supervisor Feby on the day the issue was raised, and again the following morning with both the same supervisor and a manager, where the matter was discussed and dealt with. Despite this, another manager Uni later escalated the situation without properly communicating with us. She made no direct attempts to contact me despite having my number, email and I was in my room for that day after I had already spoken to Feby and the other manager that morning, leaving my room at 4pm for a surf. We felt pressured into paying money just to regain access to our belongings, which was incredibly distressing and intimidating as three female travellers. There was also very poor communication between staff and management, with conflicting information and no proper attempt to contact us directly before escalating the situation. The entire experience caused significant stress and completely ruined our stay. The accommodation itself was also disappointing. Our two-bedroom villa only had one bathroom, lacked basic storage and hanging space, and only two glass bottles of water were provided daily for three guests. The restaurant was mediocre and overpriced, and the overall atmosphere of the property felt bare, uncomfortable, and lacking warmth. Many staff members also appeared unhappy or uninterested, which added to the negative experience. Overall, the property lacked professionalism, accountability, guest care, and basic respect for paying guests.

The property is nice I liked the area and facilities like the restaurant and seating areas. There is 1 one receptionist who was really helpful and nice

The rooms were average not worth the price compared to other hotels around the area in my opinion which have nicer rooms. They didn’t know about our check in and upon arrival the reception was closed and it took a while to get our room. There is a dog which barks at night also eats your slippers if you leave them around. Most staff are unhelpful and 1 was really rude shouting at night. They also use a lawn mower in the morning which makes noise

Очень красивая и просторная территория, красивые домики. На территории есть вкусный ресторан с видом на океан. Супер-приятный персонал: на ресепшен, в ресторане, в клининг сервисе, в охране - везде. Приветливые, заботливые, всегда помогут ❤️. Есть прокат байков, трансфер из/в аэропорт. В 10-15 минутах неспешной езды на байке есть отличные серф споты.

Friendly staff. Nice location.

No swimming pool. Noise (Room was next to the reception/main entrance and you could hear the air condition unit outside).
