peaceful and relaxing the entire hut and land is! Has absolutely everything you’ll need for a relaxing stay. Owners are both so polite and the goats just made the whole trip even better with their little personality’s. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!!

We loved staying at this quiet short retreat away from the world. It was lovely and warm, the shower was great & we had 2 nights without rain & clear skies. It was great to sit out with a beer & the fire going, listening to the wildlife. Loved the goats popping up to say hello in the morning as-well.

The location was absolutely beautiful, I could have sat there much longer just looking at the animals and the sky. The pod was amazing, the windows gave wonderful views and it was very spacious.

June and Martin were both friendly and helpful. We liked the location of the cabin on a goat farm in rural Northumberland. We loved the addition of flowers, wine, biscuits, milk, etc. In the cabin. Nice touches like goats milk soap and a shampoo bar in the shower room. Logs, kindling, and firelighters provided free of charge. Bed was comfortable, and we slept peacefully. Water in the bathroom is warm and there is plenty of power from the shower. The highlight was making friends with the resident goats!

A really minor issue is that the hot tap in the kitchen doesn't get very hot. We managed, though, and it wasn't a huge problem for us. The water does get warmer when it's turned on full power, but then it tends to spray around the sink area and wet the surfaces a bit. A little boiled water from the kettle warms the sink water up nicely to do the dishes. We dont have any complaints, we really enjoyed our time at North Fell Under the Stars.

The peace and quiet with lovely views

Super peaceful, loved being surrounded by the animals. Great location and the pod itself was very well equipped - even had a TV with Netflix etc for the days where the weather was rubbish.

Beautiful peaceful location

Nothing was a problem for the hosts,very accommodating. Clean,well presented,quirky,peaceful,relaxing,situated within a working farm,over looking moorland & a folly castle..Not forgetting all the lovely wild life & the resident farm animals,especially watching the antics of the goat herd & a bonus of a pair of nesting Oyster catchers.

Please this is not a dislike. More of a heads up (heads down) for tall people..i’m over 6ft & negotiating the mezzanine flooring to the bed & bean bag chill area,crawling is the only way…But once comfortable,with your favourite tipple,nibbles & a good book,everything is good ha ha ha.
