Elephant House and Bungalows Gili Air

5 minute walk to one of the best beaches in the island. Quiet but close to many beachfront restaurants. Kind and accommodating management and staff. Beautiful clean Pool.

The room and property are definitely in need of an upgrade. The place has good bones and is charming but could be other level with some sprucing up (paint job, a few small repairs). For what it is, I feel it was a little overpriced.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at The Elephant House, and we’ve loved it each time. They are so warm a welcoming, the rooms are always clean and comfortable and the air con was great. We love coming back in the afternoon after a morning on the beach and soak in the pool. Relaxing and quiet location but close enough to any restaurants and the beach. Just great!

Nothing

Small quiet vibe with a pleasant breakfast which included a freshly made omelette or scrambled eggs. The pool was smallish but nice. A two minute slow walk down a small dirt lane to the sunset beach. The staff were incredibly nice and friendly. Lots of smiles.

Nothing to complain about. I prefer the air conditioned bungalows to the large exotic room upstairs with no a/c. Too hot for me although it is beautiful.

The fresh made breakfast is exceptional! I highly recommend the pineapple pancake. The pool is Salt water rather than chlorine. It's a quiet and relaxing place but only a few minutes walk to the beach bar area. The one bedroom garden villa is extremely comfortable with air conditioning in the bedroom and a large lounge/basic kitchen with fan. There are two resident cats at the guest house. One greeted me on arrival, each morning and when I came back from dinner each night. If you prefer a more traditional Indonesian place to stay on Gili Air then Elephant House is for you. If you're lucky you might even get a sunset with a happy hour cocktails and cats on the beach 😎

It's a bit dark at night walking back from the beach. I used the torch on my phone to see where I was walking. I never felt in danger.

Allt! Fint rum och fin omgivning. Nära både till strand och restauranger, samt den lokala byn. Underbar värd. Väldigt god frukost med olika val. Bra AC. Skön säng. Gott om varmvatten i duschen.

Spacious room with great A/C to keep you cool in the hot weather! Great clean pool to cool down in also. We loved the complimentary breakfast and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Beautiful property, you feel very at home in amongst all the lush gardens that they maintain so well!

Das Personal war nett und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück hat auch sehr gut geschmeckt.

Im Bungalow gab es keinen Fernseher, obwohl das in der Beschreibung anders steht. Der Ventilator im Doppelzimmer war ohne Abdeckung. Die Ausstattung war also nicht so gut. Das Bad im Doppelzimmer war total dreckig
