Mountainview Makarora Accommodation

Rhoda is a helpful host and the location in between Franz Josef and Queenstown gives a good break for the long drive

only 1 cafe in Makarora and no grocery shop there

The quietest nights sleep for a long time

We are sorry to of missed our host's but we were well informed of there absence we hope all went well . I would recommend this stay. A very piece full place

The shower head can be better. The water is too "scattered"

The location suited as as we made the accomodation our base for unhurriedly exploring the larger Makarora surroundings for three full days. Kenna was a most helpful and friendly host. The place was very clean and safe.

No kitchenette was provided... as stated by Bookings.com. We managed with what kitchen equipment and utensils we knew were provided.

Sitting on the balcony with the wilderness all around, Tui birds everywhere, so close and the bell birds, very relaxing. The bar down the road open for limited food and drink, all very friendly, drove to blue pools, bit of a walk but worth it

You have to walk up some steps to get to room, not ideal for elderly, not much around but that was a good thing for us, we just relaxed
