Motel Comodoro (Adult Only)

Big, spacious room, air-conditioned, relatively quiet. Felt safe.

All of the staff are sketchy, weird people. After paying for the first night, they wouldn't give me my change. The next day I decided to extend my stay and they tried to charge me extra. I made a scene, got my change back and paid the regular price for the second night. Stand your ground! The double bed is wrongly oriented. The headrest is at one of the long sides of the bed. The bedsheets were dirty and had holes in them. Pillows and the mattress were made of hard imitation leather and were not comfortable at all and were full of sweat by the morning. The air-conditioning works but is very noisy and doesn't have a remote controller. I had to wake up in the middle of the night to turn it off. Only two power plugs in the whole room (one was for the TV, which I removed to plug my charger). "Breakfast" was coffee that was cold and didn't have a lid on, along with small french baguettes and butter. Nothing more. There are only two cups for all the people to drink from. Unbelievable. On my way to check out they had me waiting for ten minutes so they could check that the room was in good condition. Book only if you don't have any other options. I booked during Carnaval out of necessity.

Unfortunately nothing. Do not stay here.

It was filthy. There was dust and dirt all over the floor. There were cockroaches crawling over the place. Graffiti scratched into the doors. Felt quite unsafe in the room too. Used bars of soap were in the bathroom shoved through onto the windowsill the other side of the window. They lost our booking, unorganised, filthy dirty place. Would rate a 0, but unable to.
