Casa Palagui Colonial

Inside the high walls is a spacious, colourful garden and brightly coloured (boho-kitsch but really defies description) colonial rooms that lift the spirits. Alan is super helpful and provides a lovely breakfast, which we enjoyed outside our room under the long portico. We were able to park our car securely off the street but it was a very safe area to walk around. Only a couple of blocks from the Convento de San Bernardino light show!

Nothing worth bringing up.

Alan and his family were excellent and attentive hosts. Secure parking was a bonus, the property has a nice garden and the breakfasts were great.

The hotel is well located and very clean. It has onsite parking and the gardens are beautiful.

Todo estuvo bien

Lovely gardens. Large plot of garden and in a very quiet location near the San Bernardino Convent and in the Sisal neighbourhood. Good walking distance to restaurants and sights. Alan and his parents run a very nice establishment and very friendly. Amazingly clean as well. Alan’s mother won women’s best business award this year and is proud to show you her pictures. This is a wonderful family and they run a great family style hotel with great character and makes one feel they are in Mexico.

The property is good value. Double beds but comfortable mattress and pillows. There wasn’t anything to not like.

Ωραίο μεξικάνικο πρωινό (ταμάλες), δωρεάν 2ος καφές. Πολύ ευγενικό το αφεντικό, μας διηγήθηκε την ιστορία του ξενοδοχείου και της οικογένειάς του. Λουλούδια και κολιμπρί στον κήπο. Καλά εστιατόρια στην περιοχή, γρήγορα με τα πόδια στο κέντρο.

Les hôtes étalent tres sympathiques et arrangeants. Le jardin et la galerie sont tres agréables. Possibilité de garer la voiture en toute sécurité. Pratique car nous étions au calme et a 10 minutes a pied du centre de Valladolid

La gentillesse de l’hôte. La propreté. Le petit déjeuner.

Breakfast was good as was location and staff! We had a nice stay here. Alan gave us good suggestions for where to go, what to see and where to eat - in particular he recommended a really nice local restaurant called Conito (or something like that - ask Alan!). Lovely garden too!

Unfortunately the water supply had a (temporary we hope) problem on a couple of occasions but Alan (our host) managed to sort it out for us. Hopefully this has now been fully resolved!
