Casa Palagui Colonial

Everything, especially we enjoyed botanical garden that is so beautifully arranged but also the cozy sunflower theme that was all around in the house. Best accomodation in Valladolid.

We liked the garden which was well maintained and felt quiet and private. We liked having a fridge and the fact that there were drinks in the fridge when we arrived. We were also provided with water and tea. The room was super clean and the shower worked well. We were close enough to the centre of town to be able to walk from the hotel. It was a very pleasant stay.

Good location

Room are almost all facing indoor with no outdoor windows, we were first given a room with only a big window giving on the main patio right next to the reception, it felt like living in the reception, we asked to changed and were given a very smaller room and the first floor at least with more privacy

Francisco, his wife and his Son Alan are great, and very nice people doing everything to my make traveling life easy. Great location close to historic churches and some great (breakfast) restaurants. We’ll come back again. Kees & Josje

Beautiful place, very rustic and original colonial style. A new suite and reception are under construction in the same style. Protected parking place and very safe part of town.

We had a very pleasant stay for 3 nights. The property was as described, and our suite was as we expected. Bed comfortable, air conditioning more than adequate. Wifi consistent and responsive. Kitchen was well-appointed, and the common outdoor areas were very nice. Lovely garden and outdoor seating on the veranda. Communication with Francisco was excellent and prompt.

The hot water heater is on a breaker, and we were asked to turn it on only 15 minutes before planning to shower. We had no issue with hot water the first 2 nights, but the water did not heat after even 60 minutes the last evening. Weather was cool (for Valladolid) and overcast, so this may have played a factor.

Beautiful garden and well located property. We were met by friendly people. The flat is a bit tired but was clean and had the essentials, and even some drinks provided in the fridge as a kind attention.

Our main issue were the mosquitoes, as they managed to come in through some gaps (maybe from the main door) whatever we did. Not critical but the kitchen could do with some additional cutlery too.
