Houseboat holiday apartments Rotterdam

What a great surprise in the middle of Rotterdam… peace and quiet yet everything is a very close. We loved it.

This ship was an inland freighter that has been renovated into lodging. One of the nice things is that it can accommodate a group of six easily. All amenities available. The ship is located near the city center and near public transport. The host is friendly and communicates clearly.

Monique was a wonderful host, friendly and attentive, great communication too The houseboats wheelhouse and xaptsins quarters provided a wonderful, cosy and quirky base to chill before going off exploring, we loved it. Great location in Central Rotterdam too

Loved it! The location is perfect, the boat itself is really comfortable and cosy and Monique was really friendly

The unique boat accommodation was just the right start to our holiday. Located in a great location in Rotterdam, not far from the metro, Tram and many restaurants it is ideal for anything you need. Conveniently the water taxi service is just opposite for both the New York hotel direct service or pick up point 47 for the water taxi service (you’ll need to download the app for this). The beds are cosy as is the place as a whole. With being there in the middle of winter the place was cosy and warm and well prepared by Monique ( our friendly host).

I didn’t have any dislikes, just be aware the the bathroom and toilet are in a porthole that you need to back into and climb down to get in so if you’re not very flexible this will be difficult for those less mobile.

We liked, nay we loved, everything about the houseboat. Spacious, comfortable, original, well-placed… Monique is a great hostess, too.

Great location. Large spacious rooms.

Honestly, nothing.

The place is great, Monique is a kind and helpful host, rooms are very nice and spacious, the boat is very well laid out, and has a top deck where you can sit in the summer. It is located in the city center of old Rotterdam with parking, restaurants and grocery stores nearby. We have stayed there twice and look forward to come back.
