House Nobrega of Madeira

Very helpful hosts, also they served some croissants, sandwiches, juice and even wine. Nice views.

It's very wet in the bathroom, it definitely needs better ventilation and towel dryer.

We have mixed feelings about House Nobrega. The late, non-contact check-in made accessing our apartment easy, especially since our flight was delayed, and we wouldn’t have made it to reception in time for the keys. The apartment itself was quiet, and comfortable, with a great location near hiking trails and charming towns in Madeira.

However, there were some drawbacks. The outdoor pool was not very inviting, with bugs and leaves within. In the old apartment building we stayed in, we noticed several lizards and bugs had taken up residence. The sofa and other furniture showed noticeable marks and stains. While the host was generally pleasant, requests for extra espresso pods or a washing line came with additional charges which didn’t seem appropriate. We also didn’t feel like the host was particularly attentive to our needs.

Location is great, close to the beach and also to some levadas if you like hiking.

Clean, spacious, modern. Felt immediately at ease! View was great and swimming pool nice and clean.

Lovely and clean property, lovely staff and facilities! We would stay here again!

The access to the property is a little difficult but doable. The people staying at the same time as us had a big hire car which made parking a little difficult at times due to how they parked (Not fault of the property as there is sufficient room if parked properly).
