Mälardrottningen Yacht Hotel

Ligger ju med en helt fantastiskt utsikt från Riddarholmskajen ut över vattnet. Nära T-bana och gamla stan trots mycket lugn omgivning, ja det här läget kan bara inte bli bättre. Mest fantastiskt var att det fanns ledig plats trots att alla andra hotell i Stockholm var fullbelagda. Dessutom mycket prisvärt.

Sängen hård men ändå ok för att vara en båt. Dålig placering av TV:n, man var tvungen att ligga baklänges i sängen för att kunna titta på den.

The location

The staff (a man) on the day we checked out genuinely couldn’t care less about us and I think we were more of an annoyance to him having a coffee and chat with his friend

Everything perfect: well located, gentle staff, spotless room, good price!

Too much plastics around (plastic plants and exterior furniture). As for breakfast, there is floor for improvement in terms of quality and use of plastics

The location was great! A short walk to old town and all the sights! The restaurant was delicious and the drinks were fun!

We had to move our room because when we arrived room (121) it smelled awful in the bathroom. The stench of grey water or septic was unbearable. The staff accommodated us and we moved rooms, it was better after that. The stairs are very steep, impossible if you aren’t very agile and packed heavy.

Nothing

Rooms are small, dark and pokey. There is a tiny porthole, too high to look through, which allows in only a small amount of daylight. We found the staff to be charmless and unhelpful. We turned around and went elsewhere. The staff didn’t seem to care.

I should say that we had the most expensive room, so…but it was delightful, if very awkward to get in and out of. Its a 100 year old yacht, well refitted as a hotel semi permanently docked very near the tourist center of old Stockholm. Certainly not for the disabled there are many steep and narrow steps required to get anywhere inside. Fantastic views, a lil private outdoor sitting area. A bar and restaurant are also here. Perfectly good breakfast on the main deck.

Pretty darn expensive, but very fresh and fun.

3ème séjour et toujours aussi satisfaisant. Belle rénovation.

Le petit déjeuner est moins copieux.

Sehr freundliches Personal und sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Das Zimmer war erwartungsgemäß klein, aber sehr sauber und es gab sogar einen Aufzug an Bord
