XeniCamp-Retreat

We booked a tent and were given a lockable wood cabin with lights and electric power points for no extra charge. The beds and pillows are super comfy. The showers are amazing - easily controllable water temperature, great pressure, spacious with loads of hooks for clothes. The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly and spoke fluent English. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The bus stop (to connect with Nafplio and around) was just outside on the street. The biggest bonus of all is that a gorgeous beach is just across the road. All excellent! Thank you Gina and your team.

The lady who runs it was very helpful & friendly. Location is close to beach & bus stop. And 10 min walk to main town.

Few small small improvements needed including little better cleaning of bath & toilets. For tents, sockets close to it or at lower level is important.

Gina is super friendly and made me feel super welcome. The tent was comfortable, the bed also. It was a bit chilly in the night so I recieved extra blankets. Just super good atmosphere, and the Greek man gave us a tour around the caves.

Its a bit noisy in the night with barking dogs or other camping people arriving late, but if you're a solid sleeper there is no problem. Or bring earplugs

Very good facilities, newly refurbished bathrooms. Very nice camping ground. Comfy beds. Host was friendly, gave me an extra blanket as it was a rainy cold night. Good breakfast and I was given a lift to Nafplio town which was very helpful. Beautiful trees and garden

The host Gina was amazing and very responsive, she was always there when needed, whereas other staffs were also really friendly. I spent a few nights there and I did enjoy my stay. The tent was huge with a double bed, single bed, couch, and a desk. Many bankets were provided as it might get cold at night. In terms of location, it was convenient that the bus stop was located right in front of the retreat place, so it was simple to navigate from Nafplio to there with a direct bus that cost only €1.60. Facilities were fine, if you need something else that couldn't find in the kitchen, just simply have to ask the host. I also did my laundry there, and the detergent they provided was so lovely. Overall, it was a great place to stay in with the beautiful landscapes it offered, and some more with starry nights.

The plug socket was fixated at the corner of the tent and it was a bit of distance from the main double bed. Bathroom toilet was far from my tent so I had to switch on the flashlight of my phone when I needed to use one in the midnight. A bit of walking distance to reach the restaurants and markets in the main spots in Tolo from the retreat place for non-cylists but not a big issue.
