It is a beautiful place, ideal for dog walks, great base for seeing the sights.

Just how quiet it was, the staff were lovely too!

It was very close to an activity we had planned so was only a 20 min drive away which was perfect.

Two of the pods had gaps at the top of the doors and let in some air. These pods didn’t heat up as well as the bigger one. One of these pods had a heater replaced prior to us arriving which didn’t help the situation with the door and having a 2 year old in this pod wasn’t ideal with it being colder.

Clean and tidy was a lovely weekend away

Only thing I can say is the door doesn’t close properly when you pull the handle up you’d expect the locks to click all together but at the top and bottom of the door there a draft you can see outside too. Not ideal for cold days/nights

its a cosy pod, having all necessary things (kettle and fridge). was perfect for our one night stay
