Good Karma Bungalows

The location of the bungalow was steps to be in yye water. We stayed 5 nights and just chilled. Great snorkelling. Bungalow huge with lots of space to spread out and relax. Had s kitchen and fridge along with an outdoor bathroom. Our room was beachfront and had a king and s double bed. Unlimited mineral water in bungalow. Staff were great. Good breakfast- enjoyed banana pancakes. Not alot in the direct area- but the green melon was a 5 minutes walk and had great food . Massage place directly across from entry- had one every day.

Few holes in mosquito net meant afew bites. We were more vigilent night two, and not so many issues.

The beach is on the doorstep The snorkeling straight in front of rooms is great Lots of coral , fish and saw turtles most days No need to go anywhere so relaxing Have to agree with another person who left a review regarding local sellers pushing their services

+Die Lage am schwarzen Strand +abgeschieden, ruhig, direkt am Meer +nicht so viele Gäste wie in einer Hotelanlage +das Korallenriff +die Möbel aus Bambus (geben dem ganzen einen traditionellen Touch) +wenig bis keine Belästigung am Strand bezüglich Massage, Bootsfahrt und so weiter. Man hat es den Leuten einmal freundlich gesagt und danach war Ruhe +Frühstück war gut und großzügig. Ein großer Mann kann davon satt werden.

-Boote blockieren den Strand -Boote blockieren den Weg zum Bungalow -Der Weg zu den Zimmern war ein Hindernisparcour -die Zimmer werden nur grob geputzt. Fenster sind dreckig, Moskitonetz war voller Gecko Kot, Eisfach im Kühlschrank muss abgetaut werden und so weiter -das Abendessen im Restaurant war ok aber nicht berauschend. Alternativ gibt es nur 2 andere Restaurants in der Nähe. Von einem davon hatte ich Magen Darm Grippe. Ich empfehle das Restaurant auf dem Hügel. Tolle Aussicht, nettes Personal. -Gartenanlage braucht einen Gärtner, der seinen Job liebt. Alles schaut verwildert aus. -Der Pool ist wunderschön aber braucht dringend eine Reinigung. Ich kann meinen Namen am Poolrand in die Kalkschicht schreiben. Andere haben es bereits gemacht. -Die Küche ist groß aber das Equipment in die Jahre gekommen. Der Wasserkocher rostet bereits innen. Fazit: Wunderschöner Ort aber man merkt, dass seit Jahren nichts mehr gemacht wurde. Der Spiegel im Bad fällt bald auseinander und ist fleckig. Der Weg ist immer von den Booten versperrt. Das ist kein aktuelles Problem sondern seit Jahren so. Ich verstehe nicht warum man keinen neuen Weg parallel zum alten baut. Good Karma Bungalows braucht einen Manager, der vor Ort alles im Blick behält und der das Personal schult. Mit ein bisschen Liebe wäre das Hotel das perfekte Paradies.

We loved everything about our stay! The accommodation was beautiful with amazing sea view on your doorstep, delicious breakfast and friendly staff, would stay here again!!

The only thing is it is a little further of a drive to places like Ahmed but not really an issue

La situation géographique sur la plage, qui est une très belle plage privée, et les fonds marins sont absolument magnifiques, pas besoin de faire un tour de bateau les coraux et les poissons sont à quelques mètres du bord, le fait d'avoir la piscine est un plus, les extérieurs sont très bien entretenus et très beaux, l'endroit est très calme, le personnel est très gentil, certains un peu trop insistant sur les massages et les tours de bateau, même quand vous leur avez déjà dit plusieurs fois non dans la journée, nous avons apprécié le le plateau avec du café, thé, sucre et thermos déposé sur la table extérieur chaque matin, si vous devez partir en bateau ou faire une excursion avant d'aller déjeuner. La cuisine est très bonne avec un bon rapport qualité-prix. Pour le logement on sait qu'on est sur la plage et qu'on est dans la jungle mais pour ce qui est des bungalows simples, qui ne sont pas vers la piscine et que nous avons pris, le fait d'être sur la plage et un réel plus vous êtes bercé avec le bruit des vagues il y a une très belle vue, mais il faut bien se rendre compte que c'est très spartiate car tout est ouvert sur l'extérieur dont la salle de bain, que vous avez de nombreuses bêtes comme des fourmis, des cafards et nous avons eu une énorme araignée, ça refroidit quelque peu la première nuit mais avec une bombe insecticide, on améliore le confort, mais il faut en prendre conscience avant de réserver pour les futurs personnes car c'est quand même à prendre en considération. Peut-être qu'à choisir la prochaine fois nous prendrions plutôt les bungalow vers la piscine qui sont plus confort, si nous devions rester plus longtemps.

Le fait d'être un peu trop insistant sur certains personnels pour les massages ou les tours de bateau.

Pool and beach were excellent!

Bed was pretty hard.

Ladies who take care of the restaurant were wonderful. Food was simple and good. Infinity pool is a wonderful addition.

The garbage - especially on all the roads . Their true temple, the beautiful natural setting is beset by the putrid scourge of garbage. Almost everywhere you look. The staff at GK kept the grounds tidy however the moment you walked onto the road, garbage was everywhere. At GK, the constant asking if I wanted a massage, my room cleaned, to go snorkeling, to come to their house for lunch. I recognize they have few options besides tourism. A hotel job pays not even $400/month. So I did my part and left a huge tip.But it was not a restful stay.
