"Lovely and magic."

10.0

I loved the place! One of the things that I most like was how eco friendly is. I was worry about the puntuation that it has on Booking, but you shouldn’t. You should understand that is a glamping in the middle of the forest. My experience was lovely, every detail, the service, the landscape. Just one of by best experience.

Is a little bit difficult arrive there. Try to check some taxis options for the way back. We took a taxi for 90 euros and we split in 3 so was ok. If you are going by car is perfect. They have a parking zone.

What a beautiful place in Lapland. It is truly magical and you need to stay there when staying around rovaniemi for a night. We were picked up by the our amazing host. He was amazing !! He took us to the lodge by snow mobile And we just had the very best experience !! The lodge was cozy and warm and just a great place to watch northern lights if there are any at the night Sauna was the top of the cherry with view of the snow covered lake! It was one of the best experiences in Lapland to stay here. This place is 10 stars

"Unforgettable experience"

9.0

Beautiful nature and cosy chalets, wonderful sauna, friendly stuff. Unique opportunity to step out of the comfort zone and be closer with nature.

Underwhelming meals for the high price (especially dinner), also very expensive other services (transportation and activities), wrong location on Google Maps and Booking.com.

"Overpriced experience with a lack of shower facilities and comfortability"

1.0

A positive thing which I really liked was the transfer from the parking lot to the room itself on the wood wagon. Furthermore the view from the bed in the Iglo in the morning is nice

We booked a 1 night stay. The welcome message was filled with overpriced tours (around $800 per activity). Furthermore the review and the request to leave a 10/10 review were sent before we even checked in. One of the most frustrating issues was the complete lack of proper shower facilities. There were no showers in the rooms, and the only place to shower was the sauna which was only open a few hours each day and you had to book your slot in advance. I requested like 1-2 weeks in advance to book the sauna at 8 pm. When we arrived I was told that 8pm is already booked and we need to go at 9pm instead. There are only 45 min. windows - meaning only 45 min. to use the sauna and take a shower as well. This was really inconvenient and the ,,shower” consisted of a pit with hot water and a pit with cold water - and then you had a bucket to mix both of these to get water that you can ,,shower” with. Afterwards you only have a trowel to spill the water over you. As the sauna is very hot, you also breathe in the vapors from the shower gel etc. directly. The toilet - or more precisely the plastic outhouse - is so tiny that you can't even sit up straight, you have to sit on it sideways. In addition, the toilet does not have a flush. The washbasin is only operated with a water canister. There is not even enough space to put your suitcase down and generally no equipment - not even cutlery or cups. In addition, the employee came into our room about 6 times because something was probably wrong with the battery (there is no running water and no electricity, just a battery) . She also came in with her wet shoes, which I understand from her point of view, but the floor was wet afterwards and so were our socks. The room had minimal power outlets—only outdated USB ports (if you have an iPhone make sure to bring USB to USB-C cables). All devices take extremely long to load.

"Tia, the host was"

Beautiful especially all lite up at night. Sauna was wonderful on a chilly night. Igloo dome was excellent.

Prices to and from airport quite expensive for transport since I didn’t have a car. Breakfast was mediocre. Eggs, apple juice and coffee very watered down.

"The room did not match the description: no proper power outlets, the sink worked from a bottle, and the toilet was just"

1.0

The only good things were the fresh air, the lake near the cabins, and the surrounding nature.

When we booked this hotel, the description stated that there was free Wi-Fi on the premises. This was important to us because we work online. The hotel also looked much more comfortable and atmospheric in the photos. On the day we arrived, it was already late at night, around 11:00 PM. We were given an address, but it was very difficult to find the place, and we got lost twice. When we finally arrived, we were checked into a room. Nowhere in the description did it mention that there were no power outlets—only outdated ports that barely charge a phone, let alone laptops. The room had a bio-toilet without a flushing system, just a plastic bag. The sink worked from a water bottle. There were no hangers, no cups for tea—nothing. We rented the room for a week, expecting it to have the necessary amenities for the price we paid. In the morning, we woke up freezing because the heater automatically turned off at night, and as a result, I got sick. The only shower was in the sauna, which was just a pump that drew water from a bucket where you had to mix hot and cold water yourself. The shower also had to be booked in advance. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner were absolutely not worth the money. For the same price, you could have a much better meal at high-quality restaurants in the city center, with better taste and, at the very least, more choices. Getting to the city center was extremely inconvenient and quite expensive. After staying in the hotel for two nights, we realized we couldn’t stay any longer and contacted the owner to request a refund for the unused nights. In the conversation, the owner insisted that there was Wi-Fi on the premises but that it only worked for mobile devices (which was not true—it didn’t work at all). They told us that we could only receive a refund if we canceled our booking and another guest booked our room in our place. However, I believe this is not my problem—I did not stay there for those nights, so I should be refunded regardless.
