Perfect location for exploring Yoho as well as Banff NP, beautifully decorated room, comfortable bed and perfect shower, nice and well equipped kitchen and the host Luc is so nice and has very good advice on what to do and where to eat best :)

Luc was very helpful and accommodating. We had everything we needed for a great experience.

Probably the cleanest accommodation I have ever visited. Host was lovely, attentive and gave great advice but was not intrusive. A great place to stay, close to Lake Louise and the Icefields parkway.

This is a very well appointed place to stay in Field. Attention to detail was evident and appreciated. The owner, Luc, is very gracious and helpful. I HIGHLY recommend staying at Canadian Rockies Inn!

The nearby train is loud but can't do anything about that. Just needs a different cutting board (not glass). Needs a light over the kitchen sink.

Everything, Luc's place is absolutely perfect and he is a great, communicative, and thoughtful host. He anticipated our needs and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. Huge room, huge bathroom, extremely useful kitchen, beautiful fireplace, and very comfy bed. It looked very recently renovated or immaculately cared for (or both?) Field is an awesome home away from home, and we had the river entirely to ourselves every time we visited. It's perfectly located to access all the best sights without the crowds of banff and lake louise. We visited Emerald Lake multiple times because it's just 10 min away! It felt like the luxury of a hotel with the personal attention of a hosted B&B.

At first, I was surprised it was a house, then we stepped inside and wow! It looked so much bigger on the inside and well decorated. We were both impressed. Luc was very helpful, suggeating activities in the neighboring towns, and always checking that we had what we needed. Extremely courteous. It's proximity to many tourist attractions is key; Emeral Lake, Natural bridge, Takkakow Falls, Spiral train tunnel, 20min away from Lake Louise. If you love trains, it's the place for you, you get to watch them go by through the dining room window as you eat your meal. The restaurant nearby is quite good.

For some, if a freight train is going by, you have to wait 15min for it to go by.

Apartment was spacious, comfortable and welcoming. Luc (the host/owner) was very helpful and was also proactive in reaching out to us and letting us know about the neighbourhood. He told me about the resident bears in Field and sure enough I saw them the next day!

Only one restaurant in the small town and no groceries available. Not a deal breaker because there are plenty about a 20-minute drive away at Lake Louise and Luc was also very kind to let us know in advance so we planned our meals and got groceries in advance!
