Corbett Nature Retreat

Places like this are few and far between. An oasis of calm with a beautiful garden, the tent was absolutely spotless and exceeded my expectations. The bed was very comfy and I wasn’t cold in the night despite it being February due to the duvet - there was also a heater if needed. Bathroom lovely and even a full length mirror - more than most places I’ve stayed have! The owner is kind and hospitable and I was touched by him prepping coffee before my safari on the second morning. The bill needed to be paid in cash which I wasn’t prepared for, so worth preparing for this in advance.

It would be hard to find a negative but my only thoughts were on the portion sizes for meals - the food was excellent but for one person I’d have preferred a thali than the amount of food that came out (way too much for one!).

One of the best places to stay! The host is an absolute delight

Corbet Nature Retreat is an amazing facility, nestled away in a corner... with khichdi river flowing next to the facility. Everything was hygienic, spic n span and orderly. Our host, Mr. Bipin was amazing and a very pleasing personality. Made sure we had everything we needed. He has maintained amazing service levels. Special mention for Ajay Bhai from his staff team. The food was superb, homely & healthy. Our kids also had an awesome time. Thank You Bipin ji.

Everything was perfect.

We only stayed one night at Corbett Nature Retreat, but our experience was amazing. The tent is comfortable, the food delicious and in a beautiful natural setting. The best thing about this place is the communication with the staff. Days before we even arrived we had contact with them. We had problems booking trains, had doubts about how to get to our next accommodation and had a late arrival, but to every question they have very clear, quick and helpful responses which made us feel at ease. They even arranged late dinner for us upon arrival! If you are coming to Jim Corbett, don’t hesitate to book a night here. You won’t regret it!

The only thing that bothered us is a loud wedding party at a nearby hotel that started at 7am.

This was an unexpected gem on our journey through northern India. Communication was friendly and promptly answered. We arrived late at night to welcoming staff and a unique tent suite, and the kitchen had remained open for us so we could have dinner. Each of the tents have full amenities with smart appliances and the entire property was clean and well-maintained. Breakfast was served at the table outside of our tent, and the table was moved so we could enjoy the sunshine amidst the mango and lemon trees. There is treated water on site that guests can help themselves to. We were able to spend time at the river just outside the gate, and at the adventure park on the other side of the river. I trust that Bipin and his staff are dedicated to lessening their impact on the environment. My child and I felt comfortable and very well cared for, and wish we could have stayed longer.

There was a short period just before arriving where we didn't have cell service and weren't sure if we had taken a wrong turn, but Bipin had requested that we share our location from our app and was looking out for us. His directions were clear, we were just traveling at night with an Uber driver that wasn't familiar with the area. The property is in the woods so this is to be expected. Download your map in advance and you'll have no issues. Complain, and they'll widen the roads and develop the area more, which will change the experience completely.

The property is tastefully designed and well-maintained. It’s ideal if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway from city life. Excellent staff and amazing food, they go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Excellent ambience and wonderful services

We had an excellent stay at the property. We were a group of 12 people ranging from a toddler to senior citizens. The staff was able to accommodate everyone's needs - food requests, booking excursions, etc. We had almost all meals at the property and enjoyed the food being freshly made and not oily. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this property.

The resort is very well designed. The entire space is green and clean. The tents were beautiful and comfortable. The food and service was upto the mark. Very professional behaviour of both owner and staffs. The location is perfect as u can find a beautiful river adjacent to the property. Overall great thumbs up from us!!
