Omoideno Jinde

Everything is good. The staffs are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The owner (shall be) which is 75 yo even tried to learn Bahasa Malay in advance to greet us. As per previous reviews, the dinner and breakfast are exceptionally good and worth the money. Besides that, the onsen is separate in rooms and can be used individually which is foreigners friendly. Especially those who are not used to bath with strangers.

The location is a lil bit far and inconvenience. Although we could see the sea from window. But it takes some times to reach the seaside.

The owner of the hotel was very welcoming, even though she didn't speak English. The guests were mostly Japanese, and as guests from China, we received special attention from them. The meals they serve are nice. The boss found out that my child could not eat raw fish, so she offered to cook it for her. The hotel's hot springs are also very clean. There is a bus stop near the hotel and it is easy to get around. There were many small crabs in the surrounding fields, which made the child very happy.

They were very understanding of food allergies and when we needed to leave early they were accommodating and moved breakfast forward :)

The half-board dinner and breakfast were amazing and really filling with fresh ingredients used, and the staff also offers rice refills if the provided amount isn't enough. There were also two onsens to choose from, which are occupied on a room basis, which is very helpful for those who are not comfortable with using public onsens with strangers. The staff knew a bit of English and had hand-held translators for helping with more complicated expressions. I also noticed a lot of attention to detail for our comfort: - The staff personally saw us to our room and briefed us on some typical ryokan etiquette - There was already hot drinking water prepared in a flask when we arrived (no need to wait for it to boil) - A separate pair of slippers to use in the bathroom was already provided inside - The futons were already set up beforehand - On check out day, our shoes were already placed at the front (no need to look for our shoes in the rack)

The private onsen / shower area is outdoors, and there were blinds along the glass windows which acted as dividers, but the blinds were still relatively see-through (something to note if privacy is a concern). The door right beside the glass windows was also mainly glass, but there was no provided way to cover it up for some privacy when bathing.
