Overly expensive for no reason

The location was great after travelling from Perth.

It wasn’t overly clean, the shower was full of grime; mop/dirt residue in the corners; smelt stale and of tobacco smoke in the room; very dated facilities. The entry in via car was full of massive potholes making it very difficult to manoeuvre. Everything in the store was terribly overpriced seemingly taking great advantage of the location which was extremely disappointing. Considering the price at $195.00, I expected much better.

Slept well as bed was very comfortable.

We have been here six times now over 4 years. But this last visit, the cleaning of the shower and floors was not good. Mould in shower on the tiles and the bathroom floor is definitely dirty and needs attention. The indoor mat should have been outside as the mud and dirt is on the floor in the room. The room itself needs a good mop.

If you need somewhere to stay, this is a good place

Having a nice bar to be able relax away from our room.

The smell and that our room was much smaller than the couple we were traveling with although we paid the same price.

It’s a very clean well presented cabin in a very unique environment.

Probably the best roadhouse on Eyre highway, though you cannot compare it to city hotels for sure. Room compact but functional and clean, delicious dinner, friendly staff, everything and more you expect of a roadhouse.
