Exchange Hotel Goulburn

Nothing. Staff were horrible and incredibly rude, the property was dirty and unkept.

Everything about this property is horrible! The staff, the rooms and the management are absolutely atrocious. Room wasn't cleaned prior to my arrival, bugs all over the sheets and someone else's bodily fluids as the sheets were clearly not changed between guests.

The room did not match the Booking.com description. It did not have towels, did not have soap, did not have bath mat, did not have milk, did not have a kettle, did not have a mirror, had a broken toilet roll holder, filthy entrance with feathers and bird poop. I had 3 calls to the managers Astor Apartments with basic responses. I asked for a partial refund but no response. It appears it is a place for NDIS people and is very sub standard. Way over priced and misrepresented on Booking.com.

Bed was good

Noisy,smelt of cigarette smoke air conditioner didn't work ,ran out of hot water,no light globes fitted, generally not looked after

The fixtures in the room weren't adequate, and the bathroom sink tap was partly broken. I'm shocked that the bed had dirty sheets on the bed. I was not impressed that the room hadn't been swept or mopped. I should've taken photos.

Room had not been cleaned, rubbish still in the bin, floor was dirty, bedding was dirty, no towel, no toilet paper

We got an upgrade, but just because there were fleas in our room. The staff was nice, understanding and helpful. The room that we got upgraded to had a living room and kitchen, two bedrooms and a private bathroom. We were very happy with that one.

There were bed fleas in the room we originally were assigned to and also in a similar room next to it. Everywhere lied dead insects and when we asked if we could have a vacuum cleaner, we were told that there isn't one in the whole hotel!

There is actually no Hotel there (boarded up with signs indicating future renovations), its only budget accommodation and even that is very poor and still being "renovated". There were no towels in our room and no toilet paper in the "unclean" gents toilet. Apparently the toilets get cleaned every second day!! After sending text messages someone showed up at 9.00pm with towels and toilet paper! Could not find any onsite staff. Random meet up with someone who arrived in car park just after we arrived who went into the "office" to get a key. No security to site entry so anyone could walk in off the street. Nowhere to leave key on departure.

It was dirty, the whole hotel was disgusting. The room was uncleaned there were spider webs all over the place, dead bugs on the bed sheets and on the fridge. Bathroom was dirty with lots of dead bugs on the floor. Just disgusting. The worst hotel ever.
