After spending 3 weeks in some grotty outback motel and roadhouse rooms, the Executive Suite we booked at the Velocity compensated us for all we had to endure. It is a fairly new motel and the suites are modern and stylish similar to the ones found in the major cities. Plenty of space for luggage, side table and reading light on each side of the queen bed and the contemporary bathroom has a wide shelf for placing all your toiletries. There is also a nice pool, gym and guest laundry. The room rates include breakfast, dinner and crib lunch (pack your take away lunch) at the buffet style Bistro. The Bistro is designed to feed young XXL sized adults with healthy appetite and no dietary restriction. We thoroughly enjoyed the 2 nights we stayed at the motel and consider it to be a fantastic deal.

The comfort of this hotel was much more that I expected. The standard of the room was equivalent to an Oaks or Mantra 4 star apartment hotel. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, the large smart TV, fast reliable internet and Foxtel channels as well as Foxtel on Demand! The meals supplied were fine and also plentiful. Packing your own lunch from the buffet selection was ample and very generous. The gym was very well equipped.

in the middle of the industrial area, out of town and charged an extra $135 for using booking.com. over the room rate for booking direct. set up for FIFO which means early noise and the angle grinder next door starts at 7 am on the dot.

The food was great, with lots of vegetarian options. Laundry facilities were fantastic, with everything provided at no extra cost. Television viewing options exceeded expectations. Bed was soo comfortable and had really good sleep every night.

Location was well out of town and the accommodation and services are targeted to FIFO workers I think we were the only tourist there so we felt out of place. Having said that the workers were very nice and we eventually settled in
