The baths were amazing everything was so cosy

Comfort, views, bird life, proximity to natural and social amenities, easy warmth via spa, electric and wood heating, kitchen dishes cleaning equipment was much to my taste, including the dish drying rack.

1. Muddy and wet entrance - could easily be rectified, as inconvenient to always shuck and don footwear to enter/exit premise without importing the great outdoors. 2. The usual problem with TV viewing: it doesn't work according to the written instructions! Even Lynn (who arrived promptly on call) had to apply inspired guesswork to make it work. 3. The DVD library - nice idea but we couldn't find a player? 4. A clock that needed a new battery. 5. For the driver, the curved, narrow driveway down to the cottage is VERY tricky to negotiate leaving the cottage backwards (esp in rain or dark). Future visitors tip: smarter to back in and drive out forwards. Lynn: suggest you go through the visitor instructions, rewrite and update them (from a visitor's perspective) to more accurately reflect the present situation.

This has truly been a wonderful night — the peaceful scenery, the cozy and beautifully designed interior, and the genuinely kind and welcoming staff made it an incredibly relaxing and perfect experience. Every detail, from the tranquil atmosphere to the thoughtful service, made me feel completely at ease, as if I were at a home away from home. The outdoor bath was absolutely amazing — soaking in the warm water while surrounded by the crisp, cold air was nothing short of heavenly. In such chilly weather, it felt like a slice of paradise on earth. I can’t express how soothing and refreshing it was. I genuinely hope more people will have the chance to come and experience this hidden gem. It’s one of those places that leaves a lasting impression on your heart — calm, warm, and refreshingly different from the usual. I’ll definitely cherish the memories from this stay and would gladly return again. Thank you for making it so special!

The location is lovely, bush views from the property. We were there in winter so the fire was lovely. Beds were comfy also.

A mistake made with incorrect coffee pods left which caused much confusion! Also not enough bth towels supplied. Both errors were rectified quickly.

It was our third time staying there all you need to bring is your food very responsive to messages regarding accommodation questions very clean and tidy staff very obliging. great cosy getaway!

Wasn’t enough firewood for the two nights, so had to pay for extra.

Loved the location. Quietness and secluded cabins for privacy. Bed was super comfy n cozy with the fire on! The twin tubs were awesome with the views and atmosphere. The birds made our stay amazing. Will be returning!! So calming

No information on what we could use in the tubs or supplied. The cold water taps also didnt seem to work so only hot water would come out.

The location was excellent, being adjacent to the bibbulmun track and only minutes from Balingup town centre. The Teal Cottage was ve4y well appointed and very clean. WiFi service was great, and the spa was lovely (and just the trick after a long day of hiking). Our only suggestion to improve the space would be to add cushions to wooden chairs and perhaps a throw rug to make the cottage even more cosy. Beautiful place, thank you!!!!
