Serenità Stanthorpe

Breakfast was excellent. The quiches were a great idea especially put in the baker's oven. Loved the T2 tea and the coffee machine was brilliant. The quantity of wood was excellent and the wood burner kept the tent cosy.. Loved the bath on the deck. Loved how private the tent was on the river. Great size fridge.

It was a tent and as such it could not be locked at night. This is not a negative for the business - it is a tent and that's the same as any other tent. There was a small amount of traffic noise, but it was distant and not an issue.

Prompt communication with lovely host. Extremely comfortable bedding, best nights sleep ive had in years. Thoughful extras, breakfast etc. so good to take an escape out of the city, enjoy Stanthorpe and come back and truely relax. I recommend it and would love to return.

The styling was great, the inside looked absolutely stunning. Everything was thought of & the quality of brands didn’t go unnoticed

The location!! We were at the back of someone’s house with old cars & machinery to the left of the tent. The outlook to the water was ok but we were also looking at a black sewer hose & troughs. It was NOT the secluded luxury sweeping river views or a romantic getaway. The tents weren’t “light filled” and due to the cold we had to keep everything closed (fair enough - that’s our fault for coming in winter). The heater stopped working during the night & kept “defrosting” so we had no heat once the fire went out in the middle of the night. I know it was in the middle of the night (1am) because a dog kept barking and woke us up. The constant traffic on the road was awful it was not the serenity we were looking forward to. We ended up leaving at 7am because we’d had no sleep or heating. I ordered a picnic basket that said it included meats, boiled eggs cheese etc but we got pork belly and an Asian salad plus cheese olives & antipasto but no crackers only a loaf of bread & breadstick….not $80 worth! I messaged Wendy who said that all grazing boards get given pork belly & Asian salad (??) She then called back & offered to bring down meats but I declined. I mentioned to her how it wasn’t what we were expecting with the location noise & also how I didn’t feel comfortable using the bath given the close proximity of the neighbours. She was quite rude & said she was sorry we were disappointed & then hung up. All in all we loved the tent, hated everything else. Sorry
