Relax Beach Resort Candidasa

The staff were excellent, they could not do enough for you. The accommodation was basic but adequate and very clean.

There was really nothing to dislike.

Only 2 power points in the room . Kettle had to be plunged in to the double adapter beside the bed with a lamp. Very dangerous I put the kettle on and it didn’t work so I thought it must of came out of socket. So I pushed it back in. It gave me a really bad electric shock what threw me to the other side of room. I have a fractured wrist in a cast . As I’m lucky to be alive, I get told. Back to the hospital on the 12 th may for another X-ray 🤞the cast comes off and no problems.

Beautiful beachfront property set in lovely grounds and with a great pool. The staff were so helpful, they couldn’t do enough to help us.

The room booked was close to the busy noisy main road through Candidasa. Even the staff said the rooms would be noisy. I chose to stay in a different room away from the road at extra cost. The room had been partially renovated. The bathroom new. The ceiling throughout was still the old dusty woven bamboo. The air-conditioning only recirculated the air. No cool air. Staff were not interested to fix despite being asked to fix. WiFi in the room was next to non existent. Breakfast was just okay. The swimming pool, looking out on the ocean was good.

Les murs sont en papiers, vous avez l’impression de dormir sur l’autoroute. Bruit de voitures et scooters constant. Bruit de tôle dans les chambres, vraiment infernale pour dormir (on ne sait pas d’où ça vient) Démarchage jusque dans l’hôtel pour de la plongée, des massages, tour de bateau, taxi etc. Piscine à l’ombre des 15h. Chambres vraiment très petites, difficile de se déplacer, une fois les sacs posés, on ne peut plus ouvrir les portes sans taper dedans.
