Pondok Bambu Homestay

This is the 4th time I have stayed here and its just lovely. Its a great location with a short walk from the madness of Ubud. You have the family temple and homes at the front and then at the back in the gardens you have a small pool with a mix of Balinese Bunglows, Apartments and there are new Suites under the Breakfast Room. I've stay in all 3. I love the tradition of the Bunglows but the Suites are just stunning. A good combination of a luxury hotel in a small home stay. The family are lovely. The homestay was opened by Ketut in the 80s and is now run by son Made. Ketut is still there cooking or overseeing Breakfast. His Banana Pancakes are amazing! Will never go back to Bali without staying here.

There is little to not like.

Emplacement très très proche du centre mais très calme car isolé de la route. La famille qui nous a accueillis est très sympathique, nous a fourni des conseils. Cadre magnifique, piscine très agréable dont nous profitions en fin de journée

ik was hier in december 2023 ook al. Dat beviel zo goed, dus wederom geboekt. De familie is fijn. De Homestay prachtig aangelegd met een eigen tempeltje, aan de achterkant kun je zo via de straatjes naar de rijstvelden of naar de toeristische marktkramen. De kamer is ruim en ook de veranda. Ze maken heerlijke ontbijtjes en ik ben met Made, de zoon van de eigenaar weer op de motorscooter naar diverese plekken gegaan Topplek

Le bungalow est très vétuste, le matelas assez dur, les draps ne sont pas propres, aucune facilité dans la salle de bain si ce n’est un wc/evier/douche. Sans compter que la porte d’entrée est fermée par un cadenas qui s’avère être le même pour les autres bungalows (j’ai ouvert un bungalow par inadvertance en pensant que c’était le mien mais non). Je ne me sentais pas à l’aise. J’ai quitté l’établissement après une nuit alors que j’en avais réservé 3. Le personnel est tout de même gentil.

Bardzo mili, pomocni gospodarze. Pyszne śniadania. Czysto, codziennie sprzątanie i wymiana ręczników. Dwa wyjścia z hotelu. Jedno na bazary i pola ryżowe, drugie na marketi i restauracje

Wszystko mi się podobało. Maleńki minus za brak półki na kosmetyki w łazience

What a find!!!! £13 a night in the quiet honesty it was fantastic. Clean room, pool and breakfast included you can’t go wrong. 20 minute walk into town and enough bars and restaurants nearby if needed.

No kettle or fridge in room but we asked for a kettle and they gave us one straight away.
