Cakalang Resort

We had a great time at Cakalang Resort. It's located in a great spot and the owners and staff are amazing! Thanks for having us!

Emplacement au top, personnel super gentil (merci à Debie et à toute l'équipe !), piscine très agréable.

Bungalows mal isolés phoniquement et thermiquement (ultra chaud à l'interieur), remontée d'odeurs...

The area was ok, probably a little quieter than other places. The staff was helpful and generally speaking most things are pretty much fine. You should like dogs going there, 2 big dogs running around freely, they’re friendly though. I personally didn't like the bright light outside the room all night long, apparently for security reasons.

Location is great! Staff are friendly and helpful. FREE strong wifi & swimming pool.

Few minor maintenance issues could be improved (broken tap in bathroom, swimming pool deck needs improvement) Bed or mattresses could be improved or replaced

It's a hidden gem!! Superb environment, great facilities like the pool, the food, the cleanness and size of the rooms or bathrooms, exceptional and friendly service by local staff and top quality dives. Since the first minute when I was welcoming, till the last minute to say bye bye... Top notch. Highly recommended, it's a place to repeat.

We had a great time at cakalang with Fernando and his wife being extremely accomodating. Debbie the receptionist/cook was amazing and made the best food we have had in Indonesia. Great diving experience with the team here also. Can’t wait to return some time soon!

Pool was out of action due to ash from the recent volcano eruption, but can’t blame the owner for this :)

The food was very good. Ferdinand was great, the ferry wasn't running so he was able to find alternative transportation back and forth so we didn't miss out on our time at Bunaken. The reef is right in front of the facility.

The bungalow is very dark. The electricity was somewhat sketchy but that was the problem wiith the entire island.
